Well, it might be helpful to take a break for a week or two to allow yourself to recover and think about the entire experience (preparation, strategy, materials used, test day, etc.). I would also encourage you to expand the information in your first post. Mention as much as possible. This might attract additional members to comment and, perhaps, offer solid advice. It will also help you find closure and perhaps understand more clearly what happened. Once you feel ready for your second attempt, you will develop a better strategy, be more committed and confident, and the nerves will not be there anymore.

While losing some confidence in such a situation is perfectly normal, it's part of a process. You're trying to find some answers to make sense of it all. Notice, that I used the word process. Pretty soon, you will know exactly what went wrong (it sounds like you already reached this stage) and will improve your performance based on that information. Again, just take some time off and keep thinking about your GMAT journey. Search for relevant topics on this website and keep asking questions!

Good luck!

I will take a few days off from studying to gather my thoughts and try to dig though my mind a little deeper. As of now it seems that I need to find an alternate way of assessing my quant skills to be sure that my GMAT Prep Quant score was not inflated. Then, I will add some more info here in order to get the best advice and get help from more people.

Once again, thanks for helping out. :)

So this morning I took the MGMAT CAT and the result was 650 Q44 V35. The result confuses me because although the overall result is quite similar to the real thing (640 Q40 V38), the scores on individual sections have varied greatly. I was more laid back during the verbal section and finished 5 minutes early. After a quick glance of opinions of people on this forum about MGMAT CAT as opposed to real GMAT, the three following opinions seem to be most prevalent:

- Overall scores should be similar
- Quant is harder when doing MGMAT CAT
- Verbal at MGMAT CAT is more prone to variation

I have no clue what to think of it all. By the way, I am 100% sure that my quant score on MGMAT CAT was not inflated. Am I in some kind of denial about my actual score?
