Now I am confused about the math level! Some say it is not a walk in the park; others, a joke!

I guess the only way to figure it out is just do it!!! :-D

Kaplan is good because it offers accurate explanations. The CAT score tends to be low, though. Also, no matter what, do not use Barrons. I think a lot of their question answers don't make sense.

Also, I did this exam rather fast. Here are the time remained for each section after I finished it:
5 mins Essay 1
7 mins Essay 2
19 mins Math
20 mins Verbal

Did not click finish the section until the time expired so I got very long breaks.

Congrats, great score.

As far as math is concerned, is it an OG level joke or a harder than OG level joke ?

Good Question Sparky! :-D

Congratulations Kentcao!

I'd wager that most of the tech-based MBA aspirants would have found the Math part of GMAT a joke had they taken it when they were 22. In my case, since I was planning on Grad school, I took the GRE in my senior year (Major - Mech Engineering) and found the Math part there to be a "joke." I remember scoring 800 in every practice test as well as the actual exam. Arithmetic, Algebra and geometry is nothing when you are deep inside Euler series, complex polynomials etc.

Alas, many of us tend to take the GMAT when we are 28 plus when we think of a hockey team if someone says Euler's :D For us today, GMAT Math is something that needs a lot of greasing of the brain.

I totally agree/

When you are hooked up at work for many years now, 8 to 8 straight, plus many other matters of life after that, the last thing you think about, if ever, is whether 0 is an even integer or not!
