So this is my first post, and I hope to most post more as I continue my GMAT journey.
I hired a tutor with
Manhattan Gmat, for 10 hours. The tutor is decent but in any case I had a very bizarre experience.
20 minutes before the tutoring session was to end for the 3rd 2 hour session, I told him I have a goal of 720. He said the test is very very hard and that it is
impossible and I would need a miracle. He then used a bizarre Michael Phelps analogy and that everyone cannot be a good swimmer, so I should
accept in a round about way that I do not have the capacity to score high. I was dumbfounded and disheartened, because in the first 2 sessions, he was like I have come to the right place . I know I am not stupid, I graduated with a 3.6 GPA in Finance and Accounting.
He also told me in GMAT, you cannot answer every question, so if its very difficult, skip it because its a waste of time to solve it and the test is computer adapted anyways.
I feel really challenged to score 700+ but I felt quite disheartened by what he said. Would appreciate input from members.
