Hi everyone,
After a first attempt last year resulting in a 650, I almost not improved my score compared to the 700+ I was aiming...
Reasons of this failure :
-Quant : I encountered lots of calculations pbs, few number properties and probs what I prefer
-Verbal : I ran out of time and did not answer to the 7 last questions.
I had 3 BFs, except that CR was rather easy
SC was long and more difficult than the OG.
a 75-line RC set screwed up my timing...
Conclusion : I will rework in July and shoot a 3rd time cause 660 is out of the range of the schools I am targeting. Maybe I want my revenge too ...

I return here once in a while and I was just wondering about you.
I know you're probably sick and tired of the GMAT but i hope you can convince yourself not to take a long break this time.
I don't think you have a problem in the Quant section. I wouldn't concentrate on Quant if i were you. I think you just had some bad luck this time...
To pass 700, you have to get a decent score in the Verbal section as well.
Work on your verbal (I know you hate it) until you start to like it.
It's all a matter of determination.
Give it a serious effort and i'm sure you'll win the next battle.

Hey twixt, sorry to hear about your score and that you are not happy with it although I know some people would only dream of a 660 The advice I will give you is similar to that I gave ashkg: focus on verbal. Looking at your activity log, I see that you are mostly active in the math forum but you should stay away from it in your next attempt. Just focus on verbal and you should see some improvement. You could maybe read what advice I offered ashkg since it would really apply to your situation as well.
I know you want revenge and that it is particularly hard to accept a 660, a 10 points increase, after almost a year of studying between the two attempts. However, you will get yourself together and you have our complete support.
On a side note, good to see you back Dookie!
