Don't know if you've read my last debrief, but I got a 570 after taking a practice the night before (a 710).
Today I'm here to share the same damn experience.
Two nights ago I took the gmatprep exam pack test 2 and received a 700.
Just finished taking the GMAt and got a q44 v31 620 Ir6
Trying to gather my thoughts here and asses what exactly went wrong....
Quant:
Went as planned.. got 4 points lower than what I usually score, but I can live with this score.
verbal:
My normal is a 40-42. I got a 36(LOWEST) on one practice exam.
I'm thinking the verbal went bad both times because I skewed away from strategy, not implementing the 3-2 split for answer decisions.
All in All,
Not as demoralizing as a 570, but 620 aint getting me anywhere.
Will be taking the test again in 30-60 days.
Will need to go over basics and possibly take another course.
Studying was more sporadic than before the last attempt, and as a result my practice test scores improved 0.
If anyone could suggest some improvement for verbal study it would be much appreciated.
Weakness seems to lie in the SC portion of the test. RC is relatively easy, and CR could be improved.

Would appreciate any advice for individuals that had similar issues.
What helped improve verbal dramatically. Took the veritas course, and am thinking of taking it again.
Not sure if that will help though.
Thanks
