Hello everyone,
I need some serous advice on what to do. I am taking the gmat next week and just did a practice test on the gmat prep software with the miserable result of 430 (V 28 and Q 19). I took the test last summer officially and got a seriously bad result 420 (v25) q(23), without really understanding most of the qant stuff involved or the verbal stuff. I have been studying really hard for several months now and feel like I know the concepts and have been pleased to see the quants score of 36 on the
mgmat cats (I havent use a single math conpect since high school 10 years ago or more..). My recent ones have been:
mgmat: 530 v(28) q(36)
mgmat: 490 v(26) q(32)
mgmat: 550 v(31) q(35) (last week)
mgmat: 510 v(31) q(29) (last week)
mgmat: 550 v(30) q (36) (yesterday)
and then today:
gmat prep: 430 v(28) q(19), with scores as bad as what I had last summer, how can this be possible???
All the cats were done under "official rules" with 8 min breaks, with AWA and IR etc.
I am severly dishartened by this score as I was hoping to pull my score up to closer to 600. I dont understand what is going wrong with my tests, as they seem to be all over the place. I follow the timings I have learned from manhattan, in case anyone wonders. As materials I´ve used, SC bible, all
mgmat quant books, OG and QS and VS and Kaplan premier 2015, done the
error log etc.
I have studied for a long time now and just wondering if the test is beating me rather than the other way around.

does anyone know how I could improve the situation. When I practice on the OG material I seem to get 80% of the verbal questions right, but in the cats they seem to be my weakest points. I dont understand what I could do to improve this. Hope someone has some good points..anyone? Is it possible that the
mgmat cats are not as hard as the real gmat stuff (altough comments on the forum seem to be mixed) or is there any other good suggestions on what might have gone wrong or what I´m doing wrong...
Deeply grateful for any comments on how to adress this issue...
