hi all!took a kaplan practice test today and got a horrible 560.made a lot of silly mistakes and exceeded the time limit too.
do kaplan tests offer scope for improvements?.any suggestiuons on how to focus and meet my target ?
as it is way out of sight. 
frankly i dont have the courage to take a computer adaptive version of the same cause i feel it would be a waste.how can i improve my scores?
i have gone through the mistakes but there continue to be a few CRs which make no sense at all.

First - 560 on Kaplan is not that bad at all. I don't think I ever got better than a 630 on Kaplan and got a 730 on the real thing. I would pay more attention to how many you're getting right/wrong on Kaplan rather than your score. Their scoring algorithm is attrocious - dunno if it's intentional or not. I also found Kaplan's verbal to be overly difficult - but their quant is very good.

I never went above 630 or 640.
So, was the test paper or computer?
