Hi Folks.
I am not posting here to tell u what time i got up in the morning or what i ate in the breakfast for i think at this age everyone would be aware of how his/her digestive system behaves. I read few experiences on this forum which mentions details like what the guy ate during exam, how many times he went to the bathroom & at what time he left for the exam. Guys no offense but thats all crap.People start writing poems on this forum on getting a good score.Getting a good GMAT score (on first or nth attempt) may be a big achievement for an individual but in real world dont holds any value. Who would be interested in knowing what all u hav gone thru life or what the reasons were which made u feel like an underdog(btw who can consider u an underdog. Its ur lack of self confidence which can made u feel that way).My request is to everyone to post only relevant things on this forum.
GMAT :
Appeared for GMAT today .Scored 700.
Quant - Quite Easy.
Verbal - Found a bit tough but i was short of practise.
Started prep arnd 1.5 mnths ago.Didnt do much practise.
Mock tests:
GMAT Prep1 - 680
GMAT Prep2 - 700
Kaplans Test1 - 720
Kaplans Test4 - 680
Books Referred : OG (Data Sufficiency,Sentence Correction), Kaplans Verbal.
Suggestions :
Be confident. Its an easy thing.Dnt read too much into what others have done to get a good score.Theres no Fixed formulae to succeed.Apart from it everyone has diff sets of shortcomings & strengths. So put some extra effort to work on the area which u are not very comfortable in.For me it was Data Sufficiency.
Good Luck to all those who are to appear for GMAT in the near future & apologies to those who might have been hurt by what all i wrote.
cheers.
Davesh.
