Hi bongarascal,

The Schools that you've listed are all highly competitive, so you need to make sure that you have a strong OVERALL profile. While this GMAT scores is 'below average' at each of those Schools, it is 'in range' for all of them - so you would almost certainly NOT be rejected because of it. You would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile though. There's a Forum full of them here:

Ya, I know they're very hard to get into. I do have somewhat of a quirky profile - I graduated with a major in Plant Biology, I've been a musician for more than seven years now and worked in education and digital marketing. I think I need a major GMAT score to sort of clear the dust on my quirky background. What do you think?

I think that what you need the most is a good story to clear the dust on your quirky background. Why business school?

But if you want to retake the exam, go ahead. If I had got a 680 on my first attempt, retaking would have crossed my mind as well.
