Need advice on How to Improve from 580 to 700+ in a month

This is my first post in the forum.

I will start by introducing myself, I have around 3 years of work ex in the ecommerce industry and I finished my graduation in 2012.

I am planning to take GMAT around 15th Dec, since my target college is ISB, this would give me one month to wok on my applications. I am doing okay in Quants but verbal is a real challenge.

I have been studying from past 15 days, and got 580 (Q42, V28) in my first GMAT prep mock test. I have taken a month off from work so I can focus on the exam and reach my target score of 720. Please guide me how to improve my score in Verbal, Test strategies and tips and also sugegst some good reading material.

Also, what is the study schedule that I should follow? Some advice on this would be great.

Hi srishty123,

With you test date as 15th December, you have just about a month left.
A score increase from 580 to 720 is a huge ask in one month. You still have to improve a lot on both the sections Quants and Verbal. Also, taking the month off is not always the best strategy as there is a strong chance that you will burn out from the studies.

You need to first build the fundamentals that are tested on the GMAT and that takes time.
Which preparatory course (if any) are you following?

A good application needs somewhere between 1.5 - 2 months to be put tup.
A better strategy as per me would be to shift your GMAT by 15 days and start thinking about your application along with the preparation.

Hi srishty123,

Many Test Takers spend 3 months (or more) of consistent study time before they hit their 'peak' scores, so it's possible that you have not given yourself enough time to hit your goals.

1) What resources are you currently using?
2) What is the specific application deadline you're facing?
