Just scored 750 on my first attempt a few days ago. Was a tiny bit disappointed as I had scored up to 770 on the GMATPrep test software, and I hadn't slept well the night before the exam, but it's a "good enough" score that I can move on with my life now.
In case it helps anyone, I did my preparation over 4 weeks, and used very few resources:
- GMATPrep software with extra exam pack
- official GMAT handbook
- this site!
The official GMAT resources are really pretty good and a good predictor of my final score. In the 4 tests I did, I scored 750, 750, 770, 760.
This site was great for a feeling of support, and some very good explanations to some difficult questions which were not provided by the GMATPrep software, so my thanks to everyone who contributes here!
In addition to the core material, I really recommend regular exercise and good sleep!
