Hey guys,
I previously posted about my practice test results as well as my first GMAT attempt just over a month ago. I took the GMAT again today and felt confident. I will be looking for an intensive GMAT Quant course that I can do in the next month to finally be done with this test forever. The result is in the post title. I completed all sections besides IR without timing issues and was able to answer each question. Quant needs some major work as I think if I can get it to 45, I finally will have the chance to break into the 700's! I will have my ESR results by tomorrow. Here is my journey so far:
540 Q35 V32 IR3 GMAT Prep 1
590 Q41 V30 IR7 GMAT Prep 2
640 Q44 V33 IR2 MGMAT 1
600 Q40 V32 IR2 GMAT Attempt 1
630 Q42 V34 IR4 MGMAT 2
660 Q39 V41 IR6 GMAT Attempt 2
I am ecstatic about where I am in Verbal, IR as well as the essay. My quant has been deteriorating as I have not given much focus towards its. So far the test materials I have gone through are EmpowerGMAT, EGMAT Verbal, MHGMAT test 1 and 2 and the MHGMAT SC book. Empowergmat was awesome for approaches and mindset for the test. I took EGMAT verbal online course after MGMAT 2 and as you can see, it brought my Verbal score in god mode territory. Any advice for a brutal but through all inclusive Quant course? I believe I have many week areas in quant.

First off, a 660 is a great score (it's right above the 80th percentile overall), so it could be enough to get you into your first-choice Business School. This score is also a great improvement over your initial 540 Diagnostic CAT, so you've done quite well. Your Quant Scaled Scores on your 2 most recent GMATs are essentially identical, meaning that you continue to respond to the Quant section of the GMAT in the same ways as before: you do certain things consistently well, but you make the same consistent mistakes.
1) Assuming that you do retest, when do you plan to do so?
