Anybody out here who can vouch for getting a pretty decent score improvement by studying from various OGs? Like without much help from additional materials. If yes, pls share your experience. Also pls share what was your score otherwise, at the beginning of your preparation.
TIA

I know it's not exactly the specific answer you were looking for but for me I had to add additional resources for the math but was able to pick up the patterns for CR and RC with just OG. Depends how you think and honestly how smart you are with this kind of thing. My dad who hasn't done a math problem in decades was able to get more correct answers out of the Devils Dozen DS Bunuel problems than I was and I've been studying for months. He's also taller than me which is annoying but a totally separate issue...

My point is if you have a talent for standardized testing and pattern recognition and you learn really well from examples, you should have no problem doing great with just the OG. It gives you a very (very) basic outline of information and then loads of practice problems. If you're more like me and need a hand to hold along the way then a couple of 20 dollar MGMAT books is well worth it if you don't want to go overboard with additional resources.

If you're not familiar with the test patterns but are very good at quant and verbal, you probably won't need much more than a quick look at the question types and a little practice. If you need to work on your concepts, doing only the OGs might not be the most efficient approach.
