Finally after 3 months of hard studying was it my turn to take on the GMAT on the 5th of October. It resulted in a 650 with q 47 v 34 and ir 6. Coming fram a weak verbal background, I knew I had to focus my studying in that area.
Material used:
GMAT OG (essential)
The Economist Tutor program.
GMATCLUB
Prep test:
GMAT prep 560 q42 v 26 Juli
The Economist 590 august
The Economist 630 q49 v 29 late august
The Economist 640 q48 v 31 sept
The Economist 640 q 51 v 27 sept
GMAT prep 640 q 48 v 29 late sept
The Economist 680 q 50 v 38 (3 days before exam)
Actual GMAT 650 q 47 v 34
For me was it incredibly important to get the grounds in english grammar and also try to have some strategy on how to attack every question. I can really recommend The Economist in that way. Otherwise it’s just to keep on solving questions and analyze what was done wrong or right in matter to save time on the exam.
Schools I’m about to apply for:
Bocconi
SSE
IMPERIAL
CASS
Thinking about to retake to get to the high 600, but this is it for now. Cheers

I'm happy to respond.
I'm glad that you had such a positive experience with the Economist test prep. I want to make you aware of an opportunity you now have. If you chose to use Magoosh for your retake, you would qualify for our score guarantee. In your case, this would mean either you score 700+ or you get your money back. That's a win-win scenario for you. I will say that Magoosh rarely has to give a refund, because the vast majority of students who fulfill the conditions of the guarantee score 50+ more on their retake. This would be a very promising route for you to follow if you chose to do a retake.

First off, a 650/Q47 is a strong score (it's right around the 80th percentile overall), so it could be enough to get you into your first-choice School. As such, a retest might not be necessary. Since you know which Schools you plan to apply to, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. There's a Forum full of them here:
