Hi All,
I have been using a lot this club in the last 6 weeks and all you guys have really helped me a lot in my study.
I have my 1st ever attempt in 1 week and I am stuck at 600. I started to study in the last week of August 2016 and since then I have had 6 different practice tests using Veritas and GMAT PREP (started with Veritas early Sept at 580 and then 570/590/640 (gmatprep)/600/600/590 (today with gmatprep)
I have used Empowergmat which has helped me massively with SC (always get around 90% right) and taught me some very useful tips on quant. In fact, my 600 so far is due more to the Verbal than the quant (usually score around 70th percentile). I also used POWERSCORE which helped me a lot for CR, although still get many wrongs). I suck a lot in RC.
I have been quite erratic in my study in the sense that during the week I work usually more than 12 hours per day and when I get home I can't manage to do more than 2 hours and in these months I have often lost many weekends. I know I should have probably studied more, but trust me I haven't gone soft on my preparation. I really have 1 week to go and I feel that the best way to go for me now is just to review all the quant questions rather than practice too much; while on verbal I will keep practicing.
I am a bit upset of course: I am not aiming for a 710 as I know it would require me much more time than I have spent so far, but I was hoping I could feel more comfortable in the 640/660 area as of now. I am not planning any US school but rather aiming for top European ones.
I would like to ask for any feedback on your experiences or any valuable advice to bring my score up just a notch.

GMAC has publicly stated that the Official Score that you earn on Test Day is within +/- 30 points of actual ability. Assuming a similar 'swing' in how your CATs function, your 6 CAT score results show that you essentially performed the same each time (+/- a few points). Before we can talk about how to best focus your remaining study time, I have a few questions about your CATs and goals:
1) What is your exact Test Date? Do you have the flexibility to push it back (even if it's just for a couple of weeks)?
2) What were the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores on each of these CATs?
3) Have you completed a Mistake Tracker for each of these CATs?
4) On your last CAT, how many questions did you get wrong because of a silly/little mistake?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
6) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

my test date is December 9th so I can't move it anymore as I would lose the full cost. Also, I want to apply in round 2 of IESE and ESADE in January and I need to finalize my cv and essays.
I I read a lot of post and even the ESADE Director of Admission has told me that is fne if I don't get the 660 (their average grade) but show commitment to do it again and try to improve. Perhaps you have some more insights on this?

I have never used a mistake tracker (i.e. the one EmpowerGmat provided), but I always reviewed my exam and worked on my weaknesses. That's why I used powerscore for CR (as an example). In quant I struggled with Probs and Perms, but followed you advice and used Khan academy. Overall, in Verbal I get RC wrong if the passages are very hard (yesterday got 2 wrong out of 10Q). CR perform quite well. SC fail only when the question is very complicated; even in this case I end up selecting the runner up instead of the right choice. On Quant I skip questions when I understand they are very difficult, but the reality is that in 90% of cases I got a question wrong because I panick.
What would you advice Rich?
