First of all, I like to thank everyone who participate
in this forum. There is a lot of good information here that, If
I knew earlier, would have helped me in my earlier GMAT inquisition.
I took my first GMAT with limited practice and scored 490.
I was disappointed and decided not to pursue MBA. I also got
busy at work and life moved on. Then, after a year I decided to
retake the GMAT. But, this time with more practice.
End result...Worse than previous score!. For my third attempt, I decided to take PR classroom course. I practiced decent amount and developed some strategies. Took the test and did worse than ever. I have no idea what happened. It is like everytime I take the test with more practice, the worse I do. I made up my mind not to ever take GMAT or think about doing MBA.
My perseverant soul does not accept failure. And I am taking it one more time on Dec. 12. This time I have cut off myself from everything else. NO TV, NO FRIENDS.....Just Work, come home and study.
For people who are looking to take PR classroom courses, I would strongly suggest not to waste the money. You can go to amazon, order books and practice yourself. They really dont teach you any strategies.
Also, I disagree with their pacing techniques. You will end up leaving last 4-5 questions if you follow it. Gotta go now. Have lot to practice. Good luck all...
