Scored a 47 in Verbal, 31 in Quant. Help!

Question

Hello. I need some guidance with my Quant prep. My Quant was a poor 31 which really pulled my GMAT Score down, even though I managed a decent score in Verbal. I had used the OG, OG - Quant, Kaplan (consolidated) and Ace GMAT in 40 days. I feel like I really need to work on my PS & DS. 
I would be delighted if someone could please help me with the quant prep material!

WHat is your overalls core in actual gmat and in mocks .

From where you have prepared verbal and quant . and which mocks you took .And what were you scores in mocks .

Please share mocks scores and source of prep .Then only we can figure out something.

I am struggling in verbal .You got amazing score in verbal .

Use Manhattan books to review all the concepts. Also refer to Thursday with Ron videos. They are really helpful. After finishing each quant section practice at least 30 -50 problems from that area. Start with easier ones. once you accuracy improves try the harder questions. Focus on major areas such as Number Properties, Word Problems, Algebra, etc. Leave the harder topics (probability, combinations, geometry) for the time being. Best of luck.

You definitely should opt for getting an ESR and figure out which areas you were weak in? Also ESR will give you good timing and pacing analysis during your entire exam. I would add to  saswata4s  by adding GC tests to your practice list once you reach Q40+ in your practice sessions.

Congrats on the amazing verbal score,  shanks23 ! For whatever it's worth, I just want to say that you're in a MUCH better position than test-takers who are in the opposite situation: it's really, really tough to go from a 31 to a 47 in verbal, but making the same journey in quant just takes a lot of hard work, but it's absolutely doable. You don't have to be a quant genius to get a 47, as long as you put in the work and avoid careless errors. But on verbal... well, I think you kind of DO need to be a verbal genius to get a 47. That's incredibly difficult.

In other words, the sky is the limit in terms of your composite score. You might have a lot of hours of work ahead of you on quant, but you're not in a bad spot at all.

And I agree with everybody above, but especially  adkikani  -- you might get some mileage out of that ESR.

1) How long have you studied?
2) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for each)?
3) Did you take the FULL CAT each time (with the Essay and IR sections) ?

Goals:
4) What is your goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
6) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
