So, Late in the February of 2018, I decided that it was enough, I need to make a move. And that is when I started preparing for GMAT dilligently. First month was awful, I was not able to even comprehend what GMAT verbal comprised of. Although, The quant part seemed quite familiar to me (And a little easy).
Here is a debrief about my preparations for both part:
Verbal Part prep: Well, as stated I found myself in a mess at the start. Eventually, things started to fall in place. First break through material was Veritas question bank. Veritas question bank is a must use resource for all, I would recommend it 10 out of 10 times). It has quality questions and great explanations to answers. Then Manhattan SC book and Powerscore CR bible came to aid. Solved Manhattan SC book, 5th edition and 4th edition and tried to understand where things were not falling in place. Powerscore CR bible is the great source for CR, I would definitely recommend it for non-natives, specially Indians. It helps you understand the strategy GMAT use for CR. Specially what techniques you can adopt to destroy hard CR questions, techniques such as ANT(assumption negation technique). Didn't do anything special for RC, as I am a voracious Reader, I thought it wouldn't require any special preparations. But, LSAT RC of Aristotle were hard and I was not able to perform well. So, I reconsidered my strategy, read RC book of Manhattan, and started Practicing. Simultaneously I gave my Kaplan Free test with 680 Score. But then, I purchased veritas prep test series in 10$ price(offer),
And in the first test, I scored 640 only, Q47 V32. And So I started Practicing rigorously, eventually leading to the not so good verbal results.
Materials used :

- manhattan SC, RC book
- Aristotle RC LSAT
- GMATCLUB Questions
- veritas question bank (must)
- GMAT OG verbal review 2018

Quant Prep: As I already mentioned, I am quite good at Quant Part. I didn't do any specific material for that. The question bank from Manhattan review, and the Quant Practice set by bunnel (GC) was more than enough to get going. In quant the mock test definitely have helped me much, I have given so many mock tests. And I completed Manhattan advanced Quant book ( A great book once you reach Q48). Not much to talk about quant, as it was smooth since start.

Mock tests:
Mock tests are essential to kickstart preparation as well as to know what to expect from GMAC. I would strongly suggest to atleast buy one of the test series to get a feel of GMAT and get to know where you stand. Apart from that, do make full use of free diagnostic tests.
I would definitely suggest
GMATCLUB tests for quant, as GC claims they are the best quant tests, Period. One can look for various discounts available on special occasions.
