Hi Guys!
I am an Indian engineer with 10+ work ex in Siemens Ltd . I gave my gmat today.
I am satisfied with 660 today, as it is a decent score to apply in Indian B Schools ( IIM/ ISB)
Although I couldn't complete the quants section in time ( left 2 que i guess) , I am still content with score.
Gmat prep 1 : 560( 14th May)
Gmat prep 2 : 600 ( 28th oct)
Gmat prep 3 : 660 ( Q48/ V32) (19th Nov)
Gmat prep 4 : 650 (Q48 / V33)( 20th nov)( dont know why V33 fetched me lower score than V32 above)
Gmat prep 5 : 560 ( 21st Nov) ( Q43/ V24)
Gmat prep 6 : 580 ( 22nd Niv) ( Q44/ V26)
My tips( from my painful exp of choosing the right study material and then justfying it with right efforts)
Verbal :
1. For sentence correction, EGMAT is one of the best!! Choose it to build the base , dedicate sufficient time on concepts.
For practice, I used scholaranium .It has excellent que. to enhance the concept application.
Real GMAT has questions with error types close to GMAT prep and 200 questions of question bank. Solve those once your concepts are solid and then only attempt gmatprep.
If you mind is programmed to read, comprehend and find error in a sentence , you are nearing V30+ mark!!
2. For crtical reasoning, I used EGMAT.
It is good for concepts but remember GMAC can conjure almost any argument and pertaining questions from any topic.
Learn the basics of assumptions, subtle difference of assumption and strengthner, weakners to get max in CR!!
Gmat prep is again quite clise to real gmat in this.
3. Reading comprehension: I just studied the main point funda of passage and then practised from gmat prep. Was good engh.
Learn the basics. Gmat traps : eg main point is the summary of all paragraphs n not one .
QUANTS : quants was always easy for me.
However, I took egmat quants course.
It is too exhaustive .
To get a hold on set theory, inequalities, 2x2 matrix question and a hold on seemingly easy but tricy question, i used Math revolution.
Its best course for all those tricks n identfying traps.
I believe math revolution is too dispersed to be useful for beginners without maths background
Even though i coudn't complete quants section guessed 2-3 question at the end snd left 2 questions, i still manged Q46!!

Special thanks to gmat club!!! Pls take gmat club test. Its exremely helpful in solving quants que if gmat club test for a solid applucarion of math concepts. It boosts confidence multifolfs!
Now I will be applying to Ibdian business schools.
I am hopeful my gmat score us good enough to fetch me a call!!
PS: I have struggled for 4 years with multiple postponements of gmat dates. I tried many online courses. I will be glad to help out anyone for guidance , as I have myself learned the hardest way for the longest time.
