Hello everyone,
I am new here and I am glad I found this forum, because it shows me I'm not alone in my battle with the business schools. I would like to ask for your opinion, because I see people are getting just amazing scores and I'm starting to wonder if I'm on the right track. I am currently an undergrad, a junior actually, in an upstate NY college. I've had a good international exposure - I'm a Bulgarian born in Japan, currently living in the US, with about a year spent in France. My goal is to get into a Master's program (Finance or Intl Business) in some of the best schools in Europe - HEC, LSE, ESADE, ESSEC, Cambridge, CEMS... Do you guys think I have a chance? All schools require GMAT, so I took it in March and got 690 - 35 (76%) on the Verbal, 49 (90%) on the Quantative, and 5.5 on the essays. Obviously the Verbal is low, but it was hard for me as I'm not a native speaker. My GPA is 3.73, but my work experience is ZERO, if we don't count the 3 internships up to the moment. Is anyone else in the same boat as I am? Any ideas or suggestions? Should I retake that exam?
