After 20 years I decided to get my MBA. My undergrad GPA was not as strong as it needs to be but with a solid career and a decent score on the GMAT I figure I'm a quality candidate. I studied for an entire week prior to the GMAT and was disappointed with my score. Especially my Quant score, as an Engineer having a low Quant score was devastating to my ego. I'll say this the GMAT is tricky and the real world isn't nearly as tricky so if you are feeling rushed and tricked by the GMAT don't fret it's pretty arbitrary nobody is holding you hostage and telling you to reduce 99*101+98*102+97*103 to 1 of 5 potential answers in under 2 minutes. I digress, this forum has given me a chance to practice, practice, practice. I was able to do about 200 practice questions a day. I had scribble notes all over the house, office and even on the back of christmas cards. Without this forum I could not have had the volume of questions to fill my study plans. I especially appreciate Bunuel, as far as I can tell his example questions were representative of what I saw on the GMAT and were almost always clear of any obscurity.
Anyway I was able to improve my score by 100 points in a month and I owe it to you fine folks. The App is useful the Timer is great if I had a suggestion around the timer it would be great if you had a macro that would automatically start the timer as an option. sometimes I would forget to start the timer and so I would not get a clear idea and it looked as though I solved a 700 level in 2 seconds.
Anyway that was a very long way of saying a profound THANK YOU and I wish all test prepers the best of luck. To think this is Free, this is worth it's weight in gold. Muchos Gracias Amigos!
