Hi all,
So I took the GMATPrep today and I am quite dejected after receiving a V35 again to the point that I feel I am not capable enough to reach the V40 mark, and I should stop studying altogether for the GMAT and just accept the official 710 I had obtained earlier(Q49, V38, IR 8)
Study materials I have used so far:
e-GMAT - Verbal and Quant course Scholaranium
Manhattan SC guide
Powerscore CR Bible
GMATCLUB testsLSAT RCs and CRs (papers from 2018)
I started studying in April. Here are the mocks that I took (just the Verbal and Quant). (I did not take any of the official CATs because I had taken them in 2019 and I did not want to see inflated scores and increase my expectations)
Veritas Apr 19 V36 Q50 700
Veritas Apr 26 V35 Q51 700
Manhattan May 1 V38 Q51 730
Veritas May 9 V36 Q50 700
Manhattan May 11 V38 Q49 710
Manhattan May 17 V36 Q48 690
Manhattan May 24 V40 Q49 730
e-gmat May 30 V35 Q48 680
Honestly, I am quite burned out at the moment. I am not sure when my efforts will bear fruit or will they at all. I have been investing a lot of time looking for those additional 20-30 points to boost my application. I believe my problem in verbal is comprehension. I need to change the way I read. But I am not sure if I have enough time to change that since the Round 1 deadlines are approaching. Should I change the materials I have been working with? or Should I just take a week off and read more? or perhaps take sessions from a private tutor. What do you think is the best way ahead? Any feedback is appreciated. Please help me out.
Thanks in advance
