On Friday night, three months of preparation will culminate in my exam. I have gone from not knowing anything (forgetting long division and multiplication practiacally!) to being fairly competitive on the quant, and my verbal has always seemed strongish (just luck...born and raised in the US with an English professor mother).
So anyway, I'm going to list my scores here. Could you guys give me an opinion on how you think I'll do from past publishers?
GMATPrep 1: 650 (q 42, v 37)
PR 1: 640 (q 37, v 41)
PR 2: 670 (q 44, v 39)
PR 3: 680 (q 44, v 40)
Kaplan 1: 550 (? I was disgusted and forget)
Kaplan 2: 560 (same)
PowerPrep 1: 680 (q 43, v 40)
PR 4: 650 (q 39, v 41)
PowerPrep 2: 710 (q 44, v 42)
GMATPrep 2: 700 (q43, v 42)
I also took the math section only on the old paper tests and scored in the range of 42-48, but the higher numbers were on ridiculously easy tests.
So what are my chances of getting a trophy? My only 700 scores have come last night and tonight, and the good news seems to be that except for the PR 4, my scores have been increasing. I'm not going to lie...I did see some questions on the later tests that I had seen before, but only in the verbals, and this just served as a time saver. I even got one wrong tonight, thinking that I had gotten it correctly on a PP when really is was an omit that I was proven wrong on tonight! So that backfired.
Anyway, if I had to guess, I'm thinking 680, and a bad day could produce 650 and a great day with a lot of mistakes coming on omitted problems producing a 700/710. I know that my quant isn't much higher than a 43, and my verbal seems to want to stay around 40/41. So I'm not sure.
Thoughts, please?
