Needless to say, I am very disappointed in my score, especially in my verbal score. (notice that I wrote "my verbal" Although I want to deny this score, I decided to own and mold it, hoping for a very well shaped score next time)
MGMAT1: V 32
MGMAT2: V 35
MGMAT3: V 37
GMATpreps: 34-39
My quant range was from 48-50. So I can say that the result of Quant was within my anticipation although I was hoping for 50.
As someone from this forum mentioned, I want to see what I missed on my verbal. I am not sure how I got the mere 31 on the verbal.
Time Management:
I have read numerous warnings on the importance of the time management during the exam. However, I guessed one on the Quant and three on the Verbal parts because of timing running out.
Perhaps, that's why I got only 31 on the Verbal.
AWA: The issue was very straightforward. The Argument was bit tough.
Overall, I think I did okay on these.
Quant: Most of the problems were from the same concept that GMATprep and Challenge have. I saw three problems involving Median/Mean problems. Interestingly enough, I didn't see any probability problem. perhaps, I could have one if my projected score were 50 or 51.
To be honest, I didn't really see any odd balls from this section.
Verbal: My main problem was that I spent too much time on RC part.
RC: RC was very tough. RC is usually my strongest part of the Verbal part. Nevertheless, I think I did poorly on this part.
SC: Very similar to GMATprep.
CR: Since my projected score was only 31, I didn't see many hard problems.
After I saw the deadly 6xx on the screen, I told myself "This is not the end of the world". After I walked out of the testing room, an admin congratulated me, saying that she has seen only handful high 600s and low 700s from this testing center. Of course, this didn't make me feel better.
Nevertheless, I thought about my past 4 months and began to thank God that I was given a good health and circumstance that I could prepare for this exam. There is always many more reasons to be grateful.
The weather is killing today!. Back to studying for the 2nd attempt. Any suggestion on how to improve my verbal?
