I recently gave my GMAT online exam and after 8 months of preparation i am stuck at a 580 (Q45 V28)
I have given GMAT 4 more times before this (510, 530, 590, 590). Initially my quants marks were good, would get around 48- 49. But in my last two tries it has come down to 45 or 46.
In my first 4 tries i believe my preparation was not at all up to the point and hence i could mentally accept those score but i had invested at least an average 5-6 hours everyday in the past 8 months to get my scores to 720. I had invested in Jamboree online course and
experts global, and i had scored between 690- 720 in the last 10 mocks. That is when i was decided that i could at least get a 680 in my GMAT.
One thing is there that i was very stressed during my online exam and i had 18 mins for the last 16 questions in verbal. Verbal actually seemed soo different than what i practised, way more tougher. But at least quants should have been better.
But here i am, back to round one.
I had already bought all gmat official mocks and manhattan test series a year back. After investing in these test series and 4 times in gmat i was looking for cheaper options and that is when i thought of investing in jamboree and
experts global.
Till now i have spent a total of USD 2650 for a 580 in my GMAT and i cannot afford any more costly stuff.
just want to check if people usually have a good chance to improve in gmat (like from 580 to a 720). I am sure some will and there might be people saying it depends on your preparation, but i know i have tried a lot. Along with my 9 hours job i have prepared everyday, timed myself, tracked my errors, worked on my weak points and i don't know if i can do anything more than this.
I am exhausted, like you have no idea how much and embarrassed, i never though a student in her top 10s in college could come at this level.
I am not sure if i should try any more than this.
