I just took it, and with a mediocre V37 got three RC passages. The difficulty of the questions was inverse to the length of the passages.

See my guides to destroying the RC. It's about halfway down. " HOW TO DESTROY READING COMPREHENSION PASSAGES "

https://www.gmatclub.com/phpbb/viewtopic ... sc&start=0

Somewhere I have two or three other examples posted, but I'm not sure where ... maybe someone else has them bookmarked.

Rhyme,

RC part a very interesting read, much appreciated. Adopting something like that strategy. Major prob for me on the RC is topic. If it is business related no worries. It is the science specials that really cause major problems and take up so much time on the test...i end up reading the first para four times and still not really understanding it!!!

I remember quite vividly in my last GMAT test that i had three passages; 1 on particles of sand and sand dunes...the other solar system constallations...both on the same test. any advice on that front???

The SC more useful for me personally....as a native speaker from some angles these questions can be quite tricky so learnt that i have to sit down and learn all the GMAT rules. At the same time i have to put up with all those native speaker friends around me making "GMAT verbal errors" lol

MicroJohn,

I'll have your "mediocore V37" if you are offering!!!
