Hello, I am currently undergraduate student from South Korea and I've been preparing for GMAT exam for my MSc admissions in Europe.
Unlike for those who are preparing for Top MBA programmes, I do not need 700+ score, and my aim is 600+.
I took my first exam on 5th September, and I got Q47 V25 - Total 590. I thought it was quite decent score for me since I'm lacking of only 10 points from the minimum requirement from the University that I'm aiming for.
However, I took my second exam on 30th September and the result was very shocking.
I know that this is my problem (not scoring systems or exam environments), and I'm certainly not proud of it but my score was 370.
How shameful. It was too shocking, and I couldn't even handle this frustration for more than one day.
For three months I've done numerous mock exams and theory reviews, after my full time internship works.
I even thought that GMAT online has different algorithms which is different from in-center exams, and scoring could be different.
But according to GMAC and some other opinions that I found in Forum say that it is not.
Some people get score drops like 750 to 710 and they get disappointed of themselves but for me it was a huge drop and I'm literally in despair.
In my first exam I was lacking of time so this time I skipped some questions which take me more than 5 minutes, and then I was speeding up when I met some easy questions.
So in my second trial I wasn't lacking of time at all, and I thought this exam would go really well. But the result was completely different.
Is there anyone who experienced a huge drop like me? Or If there's someone who had similar experiences with me and finally got over from it in the end, could you share me some advices?
Thank you in advance.
