sjuniv32 I haven't taken any of the Manhattan CATs because I heard they are not that representative of what is going to be on the actual test. If that information is incorrect I will gladly think about using those to prepare

ScottTargetTestPrep I cannot attach a picture to this post according to the website. Is there another way I can get this information to you?

Thank you both so much for reaching out!

Hi FrozenArbiter,

I'm sorry to hear that your second attempt did not turn out better. A 690/Q45 is still a strong Score though - and it could be enough to get you into your first-choice School. As such, another retest might not be necessary. GMAC has publicly stated that the Official Score that you earn on Test Day is within +/- 30 points of actual ability. Assuming a similar 'swing' in how your CATs function, most of your CAT score results - along with your 2 Official Scores - show that you essentially performed the same each time (690 +/- a few points). You handle certain aspects of the GMAT consistently well, but you also leave yourself open to making certain types of mistakes. Thus, you're closer to a 710+ than you probably realize, but you will have to make some fundamental changes to how you 'see' (and respond to) the Exam before you can consistently score at that higher level.

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) Over the last month, how many hours did you typically study each week?
2) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
3) Going forward, how many hours do you think you can consistently study each week?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
