Buddy, the takeaway is

1) Read the whole comprehension slowly (for better comprehension) without skipping any word. Read the full comprehension in such a way that you do not need to go back each time for every question.
2) When you find that you have a good level of comprehension of the RC, then approach Questions. Don't jump into Questions first.
3) Short passage should be read within 3 minutes to 4 minutes. Long ones 4 - 5.
4) If you have a better understanding of the Comprehension problem, you can answer each question at a dramatic speed. So, initial investment of time in slow reading pays off massively.

This gratitude is such an amazing gesture from you! Despite not getting a lofty GMAT score (as yet), you took time to express gratitude for the efforts of your instructor.

Good luck with your re-attempt.
