Hi Guys,
I have my G-Day next Tuesday... Here are my GmatPrep score this past week:
GmatPrep#1: 660 (Q43, V38)
GmatPrep#2: 690 (Q48, V38)
The weird part is that in Prep#1, I had 15 mistakes in Verbal and only 9 mistakes in verbal of Prep#2, but my Verbal score stayed the same... oh wellz.
Anyone else in a similar situation of consistently getting just below 700 in their practice exames? I heard that in general we can expect to score about 30points lower in the actual exam... so I want to ensure that my practice scores as above 700 so that I can at least get high 600s.
Any last minute thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.
This will be my 2nd Gmat attempt with a dismal initial attempt of 590 back in late May of this year.

While in general the actual GMAT score may be slightly lower compared to the prep, it is not always true. There are several instances where people have scored better in the real GMAT than in the preps (and I'm one of them).
Since you have taken GMAT once before, you must be familiar with the format - so I'm not sure if repeating the gmatprep will help. Your verbal is in 38's, so you might want to just focus on, let's say, SC in verbal and number properties in quant - for the next couple of days. Practice at least 150-200 SC and lot of number theory, that should help you cross the boundary from 600's to 700 at least.

I am eagerly waiting for your final score..I 'll be taking final test on 19th sept...and my GMAt prep scores have been..660(Q-50,V-30) & 680(Q-50,V32)..our scores have almost been similar...So waiting for ur experience post
