I am very angry...
Spring I took GMAT the first time and got 650 42Q, 38V.
I took Veritas Prep Boston course this summer, did Manhatten GMAT books, Kaplan 800, blah, blah...
Last weekend did Thompson/Peterson 41Q,50V for 730
GMATPrep 45Q,46V for 730 as well...
I did worse in Quant... Despite all that study! 680 39Q, 44V
Not pleased! Hope it is good enough to get me in somewhere.

First off, settle down... Its is a very good score. Congratulations too!
Not many people can get to 680..
I know quite a number of people who have score lower and gotten into a lot of good schools. Evaluation of whether your score is good or not depends on where you want to apply.
But in either case, personally I think you did very well. And have a great chance of getting into your set of schools with a strong app.

Thanks. I'd like to get an MBA Finance. I have a BA History 3.5 from Tufts U. Work in brokerage, want to go into analysis. Passed CFA Level 1 in June. With my BA in History and an MA in education from Tufts as well, MBA would be essential if I want to move from sales/financial services to financial analysis.
