Those are some very impressive credentials. I wouldn't worry too much about a higher score. You have the creds. just package them well and you will be on your way.

Thats my read.

Good luck.

Thanks. I'd like to get an MBA Finance. I have a BA History 3.5 from Tufts U. Work in brokerage, want to go into analysis. Passed CFA Level 1 in June. With my BA in History and an MA in education from Tufts as well, MBA would be essential if I want to move from sales/financial services to financial analysis.

So you don't think that the fact that my quant score blows will hurt me too much?

Where do you want to apply?

Do you think you can do a lot better in Quant?

Do you have the time to put in another effort?

All questions you can answer, but in general, a lower quant will hurt a little but not too much, provided your GPA is on the high side (which it is).
