I got a 740 on the GMAT test I took yesterday. I panicked during the quantative section when I got to the 8th or 9th question. It wasn't that difficult of a question, but I am convinced that the correct answer was not one of the answer choices. Maybe it was an experimental question, but I worked it out after the test and came up with the same answer. It ticks me off because I spent about 6 minutes on that one question trying to work it out during the test and totally threw off my timing for the rest of the questions. I ended up having to guess at a couple difficult questions later in the section that I probably could have figured out if I had a few extra minutes.
Luckily, however, I did very well on the verbal section and was able to pull up my overall score. I found the 1000 SC document from this website to be very helpful, as I was able to quickly breeze through the SC questions on the actual test.
I'm thinking about contacting the GMAT people to inform them of their faulty question. Does anyone know how to go about doing this?

Wow! Congrats, thats a very impressive score 
As for your question about contacting GMAC, I can't help with that. Umm maybe you can call the general 1800 number and yell at em. All I know is that if I got that score, I'll still be in ecstasy for about a week or so.

Thanks. I did some searching around and discovered that I was wrong. What confused me was the use of a simple math term in the quantitative section that has a slightly different meaning in the realm of mathematics than it does in Standard English. I used the Standard English meaning and couldn't figure out why my answer wasn't among the answer choices. Now I know why.
