Hi isandyy,
Many GMATers spend 3 months (or more) of consistent study time before they hit their 'peak' scores - and from what you describe, you studied far less than that - so you shouldn't be too unhappy about this result. A 590 is a solid result (as the average score on the Official GMAT hovers around 550 most years) - especially if you didn't take any practice CATs/mocks leading up to Test Day. Thankfully, the GMAT is a consistent, predictable Exam, so you CAN train to score at a higher level.
Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) When did you take the GMAT and what were your Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores?
2) What type of study routine did you follow before taking the GMAT? How many hours did you typically study each week? What studying - if any - have you done since then?
3) What study materials have you used so far?
Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
