I'm a new face in this forum. After reading many comments in this forum, I think that I should ask for help. Please give me the suggestions to improve my GMAT.
For my background.
Now, I have a day off for 1 week after my bad day.
Last week, I took my exam after 2.5 month for the preparation.(unemployment) But, what I got is only 530 (Q45 V19). My problem during the real test is pacing which is the most important factor for this failure. Another problem is my weakness in verbal.
For Sc, it is my most strength part. Anyway, it's not quite consistent during the test.
For CR, if I can translate the question, I normally can do it. But, If I can't translate, the problem occurs.
And for RC, it's the most weakness part for me. My strategy for RC is to read the whole passage slowly and try to answer. I know that it's waste of time, but I think I have to invest for it. Coz, I don't want to make it wrong 3-4 questions in row. It's such a disaster.
umm, one more thing, I need the score around 620++ which means that I should get Quan around 46-49 and for Verbal around 22 - 30.
So, could you please recommend me
- the way to improve the verbal part for non-native speaker within 4 weeks? - Plan to take the test on TUE 12 DEC.
- which material is the best one to use for both Quan and verbal apart from OG 10 & 11 ?
In addtion, I've a plan to take all of these materials for the 2nd attemp.
For Math - OG 10 & 11
- PS and DS 1000
- Kaplan 2007
- Searching the questions in the websites.
For Verbal - OG 10 & 11
- SC, CR 1000
- SC Manhattan
- Searching the questions in the websites.
Which one should use and which one should not?
Please feel free to suggest me.
Thanks for your kind assistance.
Seth.
PS : This is my statistics. (After finishing OG 10 & 11)
ETS 1 620 (Q49 V24) - Exactly my target
GPREP 1 540 (Q48 V17) - Really close to my real test
GPREP 1 (2nd) 590 (Q49 V21)
ETS 2 610 (Q49 V23)
GPREP 2 560 (Q47 V21)
GPREP 2(2nd) 660 (Q50 V28) - I hope I can do this score in my second attemp.
