I did my GMAT yesterday (14/11) and got the email today that my test is being reviewed and that it may take some 20 business days for them to release the official score.
There were indeed two abnormalities in my exam. I had issues with the secure browser and my proctor asked me to restart my computer. However, this did not work and I was locked inside the secure browser, alone, and unable to gave access to any other applications in my PC. I connected a second screen to be able to access google chrome, reconnected and took this second screen away before starting the exam.
All went well! In my break I asked my proctor if I could take a pic of the unofficial grade as I really need to send those asap to unis. She said YES. When the exam finished and my grade appeared, I asked her again if I could get my phone to take a pic of it, and she said YES again. I ended up not getting the pic because the screen switched in a matter of seconds. She then appolagized and said that I would have to wait the 7 business days for the official score.
She then said congratulations for my score and left.
However, I now read that I was not supposed to try to take this pic. I feel dumb, but at the same time, I asked her at least twice if that would be ok and she said YES. And when I had my phone pointing to the screen, she did not say a word.
How **** am I?

This seems to be a pretty standard issue/situation that is happening these days.
I am not sure if the situation of flagging did not happen in the past OR simply that we have not been informed about it. I’m going to guess that many tests were flagged for review but nobody was ever notified about it.
This is perhaps the reason why some people get their scores within three days and others have to wait for three weeks. This is not ideal but this is not an indicator of you being in trouble or anything like that.
The only question really is when you will receive your score and when it will become reportable. Sometimes it takes 3 to 4 weeks to get it reportable with a review. However, most universities do not actually need your score to be reportable when you submit your application and all you need to do is put the score into the application system and have taken the test by the time you apply.
Make sure you write down your score on a piece of paper so you don’t forget it. You’ll be surprised how many people get confused and don’t remember their exact split
