Hi guys,
I am an active reader of this forum and use it to double check my CR and SC answers. I really appreciate everyone's input and willingness to help each other out.
I have taken the GMAT 2 times already (Aug and Oct 06) and unfortunately ended up with the same score Q 47 , V 30 - 640. I was extremely disappointed with the second result as I worked really hard for it and felt like I could easily get a 680+. As you can see, Verbal is my weakness (atleast for the GMAT) even though I don't really consider it a weakness. I felt like I needed to make some improvements in SC and went through the entire SC1000 doc (80% accuracy). I also went through about 10 CR sets from CR1000. I took 4 gmatprep and 1 powerprep tests and my scores ranged from 700-750. I already reviewed the OG 11th and also taken some practice Verbal tests on 800score. So I felt fairly confident going in the second time.
However, I felt like nerves might have gotten the best of me during my second attempt but I do not want to make any lame excuses. I decided to give it one more shot and am taking it for the LAST time on Dec 1. I was wondering if you guys have any advice on how to approach verbal this time around? I felt like I got burnt out last time and do not want to spend a lot of time studying. I want to go in with a carefree attitude and maybe that might take some pressure off of me. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Good luck to others who are taking/retaking the GMAT.
