A 20 point increase is really great.

But i can understand the feeling of getting a low verbal than earlier.

Keep ur chin up and get ready for the application/essays part.

Thank you guys for your support and wishes!

My prep for my second attempt was very minimal. I spent more time on Quant i.e. purchased the separate official GMAT Quantitative guide and solved all the problems from it. I gave the GMAT prep quite a few times so that during the test day giving the test would feel very routine.

I took about 10 GMATclub challenges and consistently scored in the 90% or higher for the last 5 that I took before the actual test.

For the test, the best advice I can give is that you must pace yourself. Do not get stuck or bogged down by one bad question - it will not make or break your score!

For the verbal part I would just concentrate on the Official GMAT guide(s) as they are really indicative of the actual test. The AWA sections were a breeze and I would not worry about them at all !

I am happy to report that I have scored a 700 on my second attempt (My first was a 680 - Q45, V38).

Congrats gmatornot!! That 7 always looks pretty in the front.
