Congrats for your beautiful score and for the efforts you made!

You are talking about the mgmat cats. I've done already the first two and I got 700(Q43, V41) and 720(Q49, V40). But in both V and Q I got half of the questions false, and in CAT2 Q, I got only 700-800 questions, though I got so many wrong. Had you the same problem?

Hi gmat_06! Congratulations! Great score! :)

So the only practice tests you did were MGMAT CATs and GMATPrep? were these 2 enough to prepare you?

I got many questions wrong, especially in Quant. However, from my 6 tests, there was one time that I got Q 48. That time I did not do well since the beginning and began to get 600 level questions, which I could answer correctly. When I got Q 42, or Q 44, that's when I got 700-800 level and got wrong many many questions. But hey, if you get Q49 in MGMAT and got 700-800 level questions, I think you will do really well on the real test.

I did 3 MGMAT non-adaptive tests,
6 MGMAT CATs, 1 Princeton Review, 1 PowerPrep, and GMATPrep.

I think PR is not similar to the real test. I did it in the beginning of preparation. PowerPrep is easier than GMATPrep and if you already did practice in OG, you would find that many questions are the same. What I think that really helpful is doing GMATPrep in quant section many times. All of these tests are enough for me and pretty tiring to finish :P

Other good materials (besides tests) are OG10, OG11, OG Verbal, the 1000's set and MGMAT SC book (real good!!! and you get 6 cats free with the book purchase). I think OG10 is good for maths. It is harder than maths in OG11. Basically, I used OG10 for maths and SC.

Congratulations!!! Great score!!! Kissing the score in the bathroom??? I would not even wait that long

as for MGMAT tests... their quant is scaring me... did you do the 25 practice problems for each book? And did you find the CATs better than the regular tests they used to offer? I still think their math is too much...

party hard!!!

I did only one 25 practice problems from SC. I think verbal part in CATs and its score are more similar to the real GMAT than the non-adaptive one. However, maths is very horrible and much harder than the real test.
From the 3 actual GMAT tests that I took, first time, maths is easier than GMATPrep's. Second time is harder and third time is the same level. However, maths in all of those 3 tests are easier than in MGMAT.
P.S. I still find some maths problems in MGMAT useful though :)
