GMAT ONLINE- internet upload speed issue

Question

bb  and other experts, can you advise me regarding below issue.

I had a GMAT online exam today. I was getting download speed above 30Mbps, but at that time upload speed was fluctuating between 1.5Mbps to 3 Mbps. I was not allowed to take the exam as upload speed needed to be above 3Mbps according to proctor. generally i am getting both upload and download speed above 30Mbps. I checked before the exam, All parameters of System Check were as per requirement, including min internet speed 1.5Mbps.

I have two questions,
1. Am I allowed to take an exam either online or offline in 16 days? Currently online exam is showing INCOMPLETE. 
2. would GMAC allow reschedule the online exam, considering upload speed internet issue was at the moment issue.

If you saw your Unofficial score after the exam ended, probably fair to say the attempt was completed. Might be worth reaching out to Examity just in case. Perhaps they quickly inform you that the INCOMPLETE message is just a technical glitch that will soon auto-correct.

You will probably have to wait 16 days if you decide to give another Online attempt. All the best whatever you decide. Some quick tips on the gmatknight tutoring website. There's an idiom list there in case you wanted to memorize some for SC.

GmatTutorKnight , I have not started exam because stopped in priliminary checks only. In such case i am assuming wait for 16 days won't apply. What do you think?

Consider checking when the booking calendar on your MBA account shows you can reschedule another Online attempt.

Yes, got exception from 16-day policy as not took exam. Though rescheduling wont be possible

Hi NirupaD,

The Scheduling options for the At-home GMAT and the traditional Test Center GMAT do NOT impact one another (meaning that you could take one of each on back-to-back days - or even on the same day - if you really wanted to, although I would NOT recommend that you take either of those options). In addition, you do have to wait 16 days between attempts in the same format. From what you describe, you did not actually start your At-home GMAT because of technical issues. Since you did not actually take the GMAT, then there should be no 'waiting period' in terms of scheduling your next attempt.
