Hi everyone!

I was supposed to give my GMAT exam this morning but on reaching the test centre found it shut. Eventually someone turned up and told me that the exam has been cancelled/rescheduled due to internet problems at the test centre and that I would get an email to reschedule it within 24 hours. I've never heard of this happening and haven't received any official information so I am a little worried. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Some more info:
Test Centre: Maharashtra College of Arts and Sciences, Mumbai. India.
Exam Slot: 7:15 am, 27th December 2023.

Any info or help would be really appreciated!
You will get the refund voucher from the GMAT for this attempt.
The Google reviews of this test center are also not good. People had faced similar experiences in the past. It will be better, if you take the exam in another center.
ATB.

Thanks for the responses everyone!

Yes, Catman I will be booking a different test centre this time. I probably should have checked the reviews in advance. Will be doing that this time around!

Also just to update, I was able to get in touch with Pearson Vue and they will be refunding the exam fee and I need to rebook my exam. Only problem is that I need to have a 15 day gap between appointments which might mean I will be late in applying to the schools. I am trying to resolve that for now.

Hi Pankhuri.Kedia,

If you didn't take the exam, you should be allowed to retest without the gap. Can you check your mba.com account? Maybe it has been updated by now (it may allow you to schedule another test without enforcing the gap).

All the best.
