Hey guys, I had a pretty disappointing GMAT Focus result come out today.
My old score was a 625 (76Q, 86V, 81DI) - percentile wise - (83 40 98 90).
My new score is 615 (80Q, 84V, 77DI) - percentile-wise (80 66 91 66).
I get that the first is higher, but I'm a bit confused as my second score is more balanced, with both Quant and Verbal being above the 50th percentile. For context, I'm primarily applying to MFin programs in the US from an overrepresented pool (Indian Engineer with a minor in Economics and Finance from a 2nd tier university (non IIT, non BITS)). I'd appreciate any advice/tips from y'all.

I would send the higher score. Schools mostly care about the overall score and You want the best chance. Schools first look at the big number.
If you think there is a concern about your quant abilities, you can always indicate that you have scored higher on another test in an optional essay covering your performance and how it is not really representative of your abilities including your stellar undergrad GPA, etc.

Tough call. I think schools will want to see a Quant score higher than 76.
Maybe contact your target schools and see what kind of information you can get from them.
