Is 655 at 93 percentile a good score for ISB

Question

Hello everyone, yesterday I gave the gmat at a test centre and received a gmat score of 655, is it a good score for ISB as I would be having 3 years of post qualification work exp till sept, or should I give another try to improve my score.

Hi. You can check the decision tracker for the scores of admitted candidates.

From memory, the average at the school is about at the 90th percentile, Score wise, you should be in the middle. Average so to speak… It’s definitely good enough.

Usually people look at their profile and consider what they can do to improve it. Sometimes they can focus an applications or work on a hobby or extracurricular or volunteer experience and others sometimes try to retake to get us high score as they can other imperfections on their profile. So do what makes the most sense for you.

Take the GMAT again if think you can get a higher score, but as bb mentioned, 655 is definitely a score you can apply with.

This is a good benchmark score to start your application and apply. However, if this is not your personal best, go for a retake. Take a call on this based on your mock test scores and your GMAT prep. If you are prepared for a better score, retake the test. There is still time for the deadlines.
