I've attempted the GMAT Focus once before and scored 650. I didn't buy any online courses; my study resources consisted of the official guides, YouTube Videos (GMAT Ninja among others) and Khan's academy articles on logic and conditionals for critical reasoning.
It's been a while since I graduated university and even longer since I've been doing maths on a regular basis, and it's reflected in my official exam report that quant is my weakest area (surprisingly!) out of the three. I knew I needed a more systematic way to re-familiarise myself with the mathematical concepts and variations that underpin the quant and much of the DI sections. I've been a frequent visitor of GMAT club forums since my prep period for the first attempt, so am aware of the biggest names in the GMAT tutoring business out there. After shopping around for a big, I decided to go with
ANA Prep because I really liked how Karishma (main instructor and owner of ANA Prep) explained the maths questions that I've viewed. ANA prep offered a trial period which convinced me to give it a go. The prices are also very affordable and eased my concern about splurging another heap of money on this endeavour.
I'm about half way through the course now and I believe I've made a great decision for myself - the materials on ANA prep is comprehensive and focuses on helping learners understanding the fundamental logic beneath questions and the importance of conscious effort in problem solving.
I'm yet to book my second exam but I'm already feeling so much more confident after learning and filling the gaps of knowledge by taking the courses offered at ANA Prep.
Thanks Karishma!
Appreciations from China,
