Hello Friends!
After an under-prepared first attempt at the GMAT, Shobhit prepared thoroughly to score a 715 on his second attempt.
While preparing for his second attempt, Shobhit primarily referred to the Official Guide and the Experts’ Global Course; he also embraced a methodology that was different from that adopted by him in his first attempt.
Please watch the following video to know more about Shobhit’s journey and to learn from his experience.
The second time around, here is what Shobhit did differently:
- Worked on basics: He focused on improving his understanding of the fundamental concepts, particularly with regard to the Verbal section, his weak area.
- Maintained an error log: He decided to keep a track of his mistakes; this helped him remember where he was lacking and work harder on overcoming his weaknesses.
- Enrolled for a proper course: He opted for a GMAT course for better conceptual understanding; the video content of the Experts’ Global course kept him engaged in the course of his preparation.
- Took an adequate number of mocks: To understand the areas where he needed more practice, Shobhit took a number of mock tests. The mock tests helped familiarize him with the actual GMAT and perform well on the day of the actual test.
