Hey everyone,
I recently took the GMAT Focus Edition and wanted to share my experience, especially since posts here really helped me stay motivated during my prep.
⸻
🧠Starting Point
Before starting with TTP, my score was around 565. Quant was definitely my weak area — I understood the concepts in theory but struggled to apply them efficiently under time pressure. I knew I needed a more structured approach, and after reading so many positive reviews here, I decided to give
Target Test Prep a try.

📚 Study Approach
I followed the TTP study plan quite closely. The structure really helped me stay on track and not get overwhelmed. What stood out most to me was the Quant course — it’s detailed, clear, and actually teaches you how to think logically through each problem type instead of just memorizing formulas.
I usually studied 3-4 hours on weekdays and a bit longer on weekends. The analytics were super helpful — I regularly reviewed which areas I was weakest in and redid those sections until they felt natural. After finishing most of the Quant modules, I added Verbal and DI practice, but Quant always remained my main focus.

âš¡ Test Day
On test day, I felt surprisingly calm. Many of the Quant question types looked familiar, and I could handle them with confidence thanks to TTP’s problem sets. Verbal went smoothly, and DI felt manageable because of the structure and timing discipline I’d built through practice tests.
My final score was 675 (Q83 / V85 / DI82) — a 110-point improvement from my first GMAT Focus Test (565).
