I just wanted to describe how great
Target Test Prep has been for my GMAT journey. By the end of 2024 I had used 2 test prep companies which gave me none to limited improvement. I took a practice test and started with a 535. I used a local test prep company and had no success in improving my score after putting in close to 100 hours and received another 535 score. I had previously used
Magoosh as well and also did not get the score I needed for the school I wanted.
Fast forward to 2025, and I only had time to dedicated just over 1 hour a day for 4 months. TTP was essential to me being able to improve to a 645, which is an acceptable score for the school I'm looking at.
Quant and data insights were my biggest weakness, and I feel the TTP explanations on the quant taught my how to really think like the test makers wanted me to. I also liked the test strategy sections which I felt were not discussed at all with other test prep companies I had used. I feel the
Target Test prep course was a much more tactical course, and it was uniquely able to improve my Data insight and Quant sections which were very far below the median on the initial practice tests prior to engaging with TTP.
I'd recommend that people start with
Target Test Prep services and follow their suggestions very closely. It is a very effective system with fantastic best practices and quant resources. If I were to do it again, I would have not dealt with prior test prep companies and gone straight to TTP.
