Hello Everyone,
I reappeared for GMAT Focus Edition on 15th November 2025, improving my score from 515(Q74, V78, D75) to 655 (Q85, V85, D78), which is an increase of 140 points overall! Although I am happy that I could get a decent amount of improvement, thanks mostly to consistently practising and analysing quizzes on GMAT Club, I am disappointed with how the Data & Insights section turned out for me. I had gotten into a good rhythm in the first half of that section, after which GMAT threw a really hard multi-source reasoning type set at me, which shook me a bit. My accuracy in that particular set isn't good, and it didn't recover to the levels before that MSR set afterwards. Also, my time management on DI wasn't good, so I had to guess the last 3 questions of the section, all of which turned out wrong. So, while I am happy to improve my score while working full-time in a hectic job, my score in DI has left me with mixed feelings about my score.
So, my question to you is - Is this a competitive enough score to apply to the top B-Schools across the world? By top, I mean any B-school ranking consistently in the Top 15 in the QS rankings globally. FYI - I am working on the applications for Round 2. If the answer is no, would it be a good idea to reappear for GMAT in December and apply directly in Round 3? I would like to get into a good MBA program by next year.
Any thoughts or advice are highly appreciated.

Some information on my profile:
3.5 years of work experience in supply chain analytics, primarily into the distribution aspect of supply chain. Have worked on supply chain design for strategic initiatives as well as execution oriented initiatives. My work is about solving problems with quantitative rigour to enable data-driven decision making in this domain.
In extra-curriculars, I've mentored underprivileged college students on skill-development and provided career guidance. Also, involved with beach-clean up drives in the coastal city where I live.
I did my Bachelor's from a tier-1 engineering institute domestically. Not sure if that's a factor for international admissions but just sharing if it might help.

Well done for the improvement. However, for top schools, 655 is not a strong enough score for an Indian applicant, be they male or female, engineer or non-engineer. I believe your background in supply chain could be harnessed strongly if a) you consider improving your score by another 40+ points and b) you aim for R1 2026 for the fall intake of 2027. Both these upgrades will take you into the sweet spot of top schools.
You may also want to check which schools accept international applicants in R3 (most don't). Also, if I were you, I wouldn't want to be a reapplicant in R1 2026.
