THE BASIC CONCEPT OF GMAT IS TO GIVE YOU MORE THAT WHAT YOU CAN CHEW (Primarily Quant & DI)AND THE TEST IS ABOUT HOW
1.
The question is straight?: Then, it's part of Easy or Easy Medium Pool; it's for the algorithm to adjust.
2.
The question not difficult but is time consuming: It's a trap to waste your time. (Expect couple of such questions).
Unless you can find the clue which is combination of question and the five options.
OR It is test of efficiently of organising the data given (try matrix) and execute the solution in an efficient manner.
OR the question is there to correctly identify your goal as per your capabilities and
SKIP well in time. 3.
The Aim of question is understanding the Question and fine nuisances therein. Never EVER hurry up and read the stem. If you don't intend to solve the question -
SKIP IT but don't hurry up and read. YOU WILL WITHOUT AN EXCEPTION EITHER GET IT WRONG OR SPENT TOO MUCH TIME.
4.
The question if conceptually difficult. Firstly, congratulations for having reached there. Now, organise the question on your scratch pad, leave the pen down, take a deep breath and ask, 'what the hell is the catch' you are more often likely to get it than not.
5.
And Finally. And most importantly, judge your score goal holistically. Don't aim for something you can't -
not only will you not get that target score but also since your strategy is based on the wrong goal you WILL score less than your potential. ALL THE BEST
