Paper test are not accurate in terms of scoring. You can use them for practice questions, but you really need to take a practice CAT to really estimate your score. Take GMATprep.

I just took a paper test and scored the following. The GMAT CLUB estimator link has been removed.. any one help me calculate my score

Verbal - 32 Correct, 24 Wrong
Quant - 38 Correct, 14 Wrong

Any idea on what my Score might be?

Thanks a ton!!

Around 600, but use the table at the back of the exam.

Paper tests do a fairly good job of estimating your score, as long as you keep to the time limits and have not seen too many questions already. GMATPrep is a much better estimator.

How representative are the questions on the Paper Tests of the questions on the current GMAT ? Easier, same, more difficult?

I am doing the "Sets" now. I was wondering which would be better to practice with.

From people who have posted in the past, the paper based stuff is easier than current GMAT.

I am probably starting to annoy ppl on this forum with my silly little questions but - should I keep doing the Sets or switch to paper tests?

Although as a whole a verbal or quant section from the Sets seems to be easier than a corresponding section from GMATPrep, every single Set that I have done so far contains at least a couple of very good questions that I feel are worth being familiar with prior to taking the real exam.

According to the scoring guide for Test 31 your score would be

Q-42 V-26 for a 590

Remember the paper tests are easier than the real test these days at least in the higher range. I know a lot of people who ended up in the 700+ club were doing 30-40pts higher on paper tests than they got on the real test. I think that its the lack of very difficult questions but the lower range it may still be accurate.

The paper tests are useful for practice though there is some overlap with the OG material. I would stick with the CAT tests for getting a sense of what the test will be like and as an indicator for being prepared to take the test.
