Hey Trahul,
Sure. I dont think I did anything different than what most people have mentioned here.

I think MGMAT is a must- the first time I read through MGMAT, I solved the OG questions that pertain to each topic. This gave me a good idea of the concepts that are tested in GMAT. I also recommend Spideys notes- they were a great supplement to the MGMAT as well. I solved all the 1000SC questions and around 10 tests in 1000CR. I also solved all the questions in the "brutal SC's".

Let me know if you need any specific tips on any topics and I can try to help.

Hi Ozmba,
I did not spend a whole lot of time on the Q portion of the test. However, I would highly recommend solving each and every question in the MGMAT test series, if possible under timed conditions. I did make a lot of errors (6-7/test) but the answer explanations on those tests were very valuable. Also, solve as many questions as possible in the GMATprep's by re-installing the software- I think the questions in GMATprep are the most representative. One of the things that I did the second time-which did help a little is this- I checked every DS question for 2 things (when applicable)- >= on the conditions and if x (or whatever the variable was) is an integer. Most of my errors in DS involved one of these 2 conditions.

You can buy one of the books and you should have access to all the 6 tests. The books run cheaper- $26 or so, while the tests on their own, cost $39.

Again- dont get disheartened if you dont get some questions right in MGMAT but the "explanations" are excellent and those are what you should be looking for.

Not currently-

Looking at:
R1- C/K/Ross
R2-W/Duke
RD-Columbia

Depending on how things go, I might throw in a H or Stern in R2.

What are your schools?
